Flamengo’s manager Jorginho is pleased with his team’s comeback following the 2-2 draw with Atlético Paranaense for the Brazilian national league.
Atlético Paranaense were leading 2-0 until Marcelo Moreno and Renato Abreu scored for Flamengo near the end of the game, equalizing the game.
The performance in the second half made Jorginho happy, he told press: “We had many positives, especially in the second half, we showed a good ability to react, as Flamengo typically do.
We have to play this way, happy, helping each other with passion and well-organized. It was good. The substitutions brought the outcome we wanted. It was a very important result, especially because of our comeback.”
Flamengo have two points in three games, the rubro-negro will face Náutico on Wednesday, at the Orlando Scarpelli stadium.
