Chelsea-bound right-back Wallace is set to start for Fluminense against Flamengo in the famous Fla-Flu derby tomorrow.

Fluminense’s main right-back Bruno played against Grêmio for Libertadores and will be rested at this time.

Wellington Silva is still unvailable as he recovers from an injury. Wallace is thus set to start as he is the only option left.

Wallace played most of the Brazilian League games that took place in the second semester of 2012.

The right-back has had few chances in 2013 due to having missed the start of the season when he was representing Brazil in the South American Under 20 Championship.

Fluminense also signed Wellington Silva, further reducing his chances, while the fact he is set to join Chelsea has not been an encouragement to field him more times.

Bruno will not be the only starter that will miss the game, as Thiago Neves, Deco and Fred are not available either.

Wellington Nem is back, but he is not expected to start tomorrow.

Fluminense’s probably starting line-up: Diego Cavalieri, Wallace, Gum, Digão and Carlinhos; Edinho, Jean and Wagner (or Felipe); Rafael Sobis, Rhayner and Michael (or Wellington Nem).
