Borussia Dortmund’s Felipe Santana has revealed that scoring the vital goal against Malaga in the Champions League is something he will never forget.

The Brazilian defender popped up to make it 3-2 as the German side sealed two injury-time goals to reach the semi-finals in dramatic fashion on Tuesday.

Santanta has expressed his delight at scoring the winning goal, which is the eighth of his BVB career, to set up a final four tie with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old told Bild: “I do not know how many times I’ve seen the goal now – but every time I see it I am always happy as a little child.

“I have never received so many calls and text messages as after this game. This is madness. When I got off the phone with my father after the game, he cried so loud that I could not understand a word.”

The former Figueirense man, who moved to BVB in 2008, won the Bundesliga title in 2012 but insists that goal felt just as good.

He added: “They are two events that I will never forget.”
