Brazil’s national team manager has defined the line-up for tomorrow’s game against Italy, following today’s training practice in Geneva.

The only remaining doubt is whether Thiago Silva or Dante will start alongside David Luiz in defense.

Grêmio’s defensive midfielder Fernando will make his debut for Brazil, while Ramires and Paulinho will miss the game due to injuries.

The manager has also decided that Kaká will be on the bench, while Chelsea’s midfielder Oscar remains in the first team.

Scolari explained his decision by saying that “the idea is to use Kaká during the game, he will maybe start against Russia. Let’s see what happens during the game. We want him to show his potential, to see if he is in conditions or not, see how he fits in with the other players”.

The line-up is the following:

Júlio César, Daniel Alves, Dante (or Thiago Silva), David Luiz and Filipe Luís; Fernando, Hernanes and Oscar; Hulk, Neymar and Fred.
