QPR are looking to sell Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar as the club seeks to cut down an enormous wage bill according to reports in England.

The club are also listening to offers for former England international Rob Green as they only want to offload one goalkeeper.

According to The Daily Mirror, Cesar is earning £78,000 a week while Green is on less at £50,000 a week.

QPR believe they cannot afford to pay such wages to two goalkeepers and therefore one will be leaving in this transfer window if a suitable offer comes in.

New manager Harry Redknapp has alternated using both keepers, although he called Cesar last week ‘world class’.

Cesar also hinted at a return to Brazil earlier this month in an interview with TV Globo: “I had this idea fixed in my mind of leaving Brazilian football. It was in the spur of the moment.

“I think I was very unhappy leaving. I still think about playing in Brazil, if I get the chance. Why not?”
