Chelsea are close to securing a move for Metalist Kharkiv midfielder Taison according to reports in England.
Sky Sports are reporting that the Brazilian is set for a move to Stamford Bridge but say that another Premier League club could be set to hijack the deal.
The two clubs are believed to have agreed a fee for the player who has already agreed personal terms.
Taison revealed recently that he was in talks with Chelsea over a possible move and the Blues remain favourites to land the Brazilian.
However, it is believed that the player may have difficulties securing a visa as Taison has no caps for Brazil nor a EU passport.
The midfielder joined Metalist from Internacional in 2010 and could rejoin former teammate Oscar at the club.
Taison shot to Youtube fame with a stunning strike reminiscent of Marco van Basten’s famous strike against the USSR in 1988 which can be seen via the link below.
