Inter youngster Philippe Coutinho still has dreams of winning the Serie A title, despite the Nerazzurri being nine points adrift of leaders Juventus.

Inter’s Scudetto ambitions took a further hit on Saturday when they were held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Genoa, while Juventus won 3-1 at Cagliari the previous day.

However, Continuo has confidence that his teammates can get back to winning ways and keep the pressure on last season’s champions.

The 20-year-old said: “Our target is to win and that includes the Scudetto.

“We’re fighting for it and we’ll try and be as consistent as possible.

“Are Juventus unbeatable? They’re playing very well, but no one is unbeatable.”

The Brazilian midfielder returned to San Siro in the summer after a successful six-month loan spell in Spain with Espanyol, and Coutinho now sees his future with the Serie A club.

He added: “I began the season well, but then sadly I got injured and that just halted things a bit. I need to work even harder.

“I can’t complain about how things have gone this year. I played more football and earned people’s trust. I still want to give more however.

“I see my future at Inter, I’m happy, I want to improve and win trophies here.”

The youngster, who has been in Italy since leaving boyhood club Vasco da Gama in 2010, is due to get married today,

“I’ve known Aine, my fiancée, since we were kids and we’ve been together five and a half years. Now it’s time to get married,” Coutinho concluded.
