Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff beleives that the club does not need the services of Santos star Neymar as they already have plenty of attacking players.
Neymar has been linked with the Catalan giants with speculation over the club having a possible first option on the Brazilian.
However, Cruyff feels they would be wasting their money: “The one department where Barcelona don’t lack anything is scoring goals.
“So if you ask me whether they need Neymar, I’m going to have to say no. Just look at the amount of goals they score. They already have good options up front.”
Neymar, emerging as one of the most coveted players in football, has insisted on numerous occasions that he is happy at Santos and intends to see out his contract which runs to 2014.
Santos and Brazil are also keen on him staying until after the 2014 World Cup on home soil as it is believed that he will perform better staying in the Brasileirão.
