Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic has suggested that star man Hernanes may not start against Udinese this evening.

The Brazilian international is struggling with fitness and Petkovic looks like he’s decided to rest the midfielder.

He said: “If he is not 100 per cent then I won’t risk him.

“He’s only at about 60 per cent and, after speaking with him, he could begin on the bench.”

Lazio go into the Stadio Olimpico clash on the back of a win over Roma and a goalless draw at Juventus.

Petkovic added: “We have a good tradition against Udinese, the team is ready and in good shape.

“We want to take as many points as possible this season and our home form gives me hope.”

Hernanes has scored five times in twelve appearances for the capital club so far this season.
