Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato would fit in at the Parc des Princes, but did not go as far to say that PSG will move for the unhappy striker.

Pato, 23, has just returned to the AC Milan side following a string of injuries that have left him frustrated, and, after scoring against Anderlecht in the Uefa Champions League this week, the striker let it be known that he was unhappy in Milan and was thinking about a move this January.

And Ancelotti, speaking in a press conference ahead of his club’s weekend clash with Troyes, said:

“Yes, he has the right profile to play for PSG. But, you know, we cannot buy all the strikers in the world.

“We have very good [strikers] with [Jeremy] Menez, [Ezequiel] Lavezzi, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic."

Pato is now expected to miss his side’s clash against Juventus this weekend after bruising his thigh in the victory in Brussels this week.
