The midfielder delivered an outstanding performance in the reverse fixture against Chelsea in Donetsk, scoring the winning goal in the 2-1 victory.

The Brazilian admits he would grab the opportunity to move to England if it came up: “If I had the opportunity to play in the Premier League, I think that my qualities would improve even further.

“I believe that the tactical roles of the players in the Premier League are very important, as well as its defensive reponsibilities.”

The player, who has five caps for the Seleção, believes he would be a perfect fit for any club in England: “These last few years we have seen new, more aggressive players with very diverse styles, which make the games even more interesting.

“If I could combine all these roles, I could give considerable value to the Premier League.”

The Shakhtar star also stated that the lifestyle was not an issue: “I like England a lot. It is a beautiful country and if I had the opportunity to live here, it would be very good for my family and me.”
