Santos’ director of football has admitted that the club are interested in signing PSG winger Nenê.
Nei Pandolfo told reporters: “We have been gathering information on players for some time, Nenê is one of them. He has ability but he is very raw. He also has a contract so we are not moving for him just now.”
The director of football also dismissed rumours of signing Argentine Pablo Aimar: “You always have a lot of names linked with the club, we have a shortlist and he is not on it at current. But we always have a plan B or C.”
Nenê has made it known in the past week that he would be interested in a move back to his native Brazil to be with his family.
The winger is yet to sign a new deal at French giants PSG, with only a year left on his current contract.
