PSG’s Thiago Silva believes that Portguese giants Porto will be favourites for tonight’s Champions League clash at the Estadio do Dragao.
Silva, 28, told reporters ahead of the game: “Porto are the favourites. They play at home with a lot of supporters.
“I think it will be a very important game. We are in good shape. Porto attack a lot, but we’re not going there to defend.
“I am almost at 100 per cent. I had a hard time with my injury after the Olympics, but gradually I have come back and I’m almost at my maximum level now.”
The defender was also quick to dismiss reports that he preferred playing with fellow Brazilian Alex:
“I did not say I liked playing with Alex more, I just said that Alex has more experience. I want to apologize to Sakho because I didn’t say that.”
Thiago Silva is expected to start tonight’s Champions League match betweeen Porto and PSG which kicks off at 7:45pm.
