São Paulo stated at the time that Ceni would be sidelined for at least six months, but the club’s doctor José Sanchez has now hinted that the legendary shot-stopper could make his comeback sooner.
”It was originally estimated that Rogerio would be out of action for up to six months, but he could be back sooner,” Sanchez told reporters on Tuesday. ”We don’t have any expectations, but we hope he will be back soon.”
