Ramires, 25, was inspirational to Chelsea as they overcome Barcelona and in the process, scored a chipped goal over Victor Valdes, similar to the style that has become a trademark of Lionel Messi in recent years.
“It"s true," the Brazilian replied when told of the similarity. “They talk a lot of my coolness [under pressure] and because that I was able to produce a goal like Messi is used to doing.
“In his stadium, against him and eliminating him from the Champions League. You could say it was fate. The goal was really beautiful."
Ramires will miss the final on May 19th, having picked up three yellow-cards during the competition.
