Lucas Moura, 19, had been heavily linked with Chelsea in January, but over the past two weeks talk of a move to Real Madrid and Manchester United has emerged.
The Red Devils are apparently looking to follow Los Merengues‘ example and invite the player’s parents to Old Trafford to discuss Lucas’ future.
The article suggests a fee of around £12 million, which is well below what São Paulo would expect for the Brazil international. A fee of at least £20 million will be expected.
With Lucas in the country for the Olympics this summer, both English clubs will be looking to approach the player about staying on after the London games have finished.
