The Cruz de Malta have so far won all seven of their Campeonato Carioca games this season, but Braga believes his team are capable of ending their 100% record when the two teams meet in Taça Guanabara final on Sunday.
”Vasco is undefeated with seven wins, and is the best team in Rio today, but there’s no favourites for the final,” the 59-year-old said.
”All these statistics don’t guarantee them victory. Cristovão Borges’ team didn’t start so well in their first Libertadores game, but they have a great group.
”But Fluminense finds strength when no one else believes. We showed that again in the semi-final.”
