Juan, 30, who spent three years at London club Arsenal, before appearing for Fluminense, Flamengo and more recently São Paulo, provides a wealth of know-how for Santos, in a position where they have been forced to adapt in recent times.
With the signing of Bruno Cortez, opportunities in the São Paulo first-team were limited this season and thus, Juan has chosen to move on loan to the Vila Belmiro.
