The former-World Player of the Year has had his attitude questioned on many occasions since his return to Brazil, with regular excuses for missing training adding up.

Today it was a visit to the ophthalmologist that called the 31-year-old away within an hour of the 4pm session starting, seemingly unable to book a more convenient time.

Joel, who is an idol at Flamengo, now faces the challenge of focussing Ronaldinho on the matters at hand, just hours after saying that his captain could play ‘any position he wants’ in his Flamengo side.
