Flamengo were easy winners at the Engenhão, with two goals from Jael and one from the impressive Camacho, before Adryan came on for his cameo in-front of the adoring home fans.
“I scored for Flamengo at youth level, but I’ll never forget the goal I scored tonight,” said the Brazil Under-17 star of the last World Cup. “I don’t have words to describe how I feel.”
The goal will be all the more sweet for Adryan after Flamengo Under-18’s crashed out of the prestigious Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior competition last week in the first-round. Under-18 team-mates Thomás and Digão also made substitute appearances this evening.
