The 28-year old forward has joined the Porto Alegre outfit in a five-year deal for a fee of around €600,000.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Dagoberto said it was his dream to play for Internacional.
”It’s a dream, a longstanding goal. I have to thank Fernandão. When I received this offer, I didn’t need to think twice about it for several reasons. I came from a Colorado family. I’m sure I will make history playing for Inter. I was moved by the amount of support I received at the airport, I’m really happy.”
Dagoberto is expected to partner Leandro Damião up front in what could arguably become the most fearsome striker force in the 2012 Brasileirão championship.
