Now with the transfer window open, clubs are circling around the player once more, with the view that the injuries of the last eighteen months will have dramatically reduced the €50 million fee that Santos once demanded.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ganso has been offered to previous suitor Milan for a fee of €20 million, which has in-turn ignited interest in the player from around Italy, with Napoli, Roma, Inter and French side PSG are also taking a look.

Milan and PSG had also chased the player in the summer, but Santos’ prohibitively high transfer valuation meant neither side were willing to gamble on the injury prone playmaker.
