Alex has been training away from the Chelsea first-team squad after recently handing in a transfer request which was accepted by coach André Villas-Boas.
The Blues’ west London rivals QPR are seeking to bring in a number of re-enforcements in the January transfer window in order to keep hold of their Premier League status having just won promotion to the top flight last season.
Alex recently admitted his desire is to return to his former club Santos, but realises the Paulista club might find it difficult to agree a transfer fee with Chelsea.
