Vágner Love is desperate for a move back to Brazil and only recently admitted he would even sign for Vasco, despite being a passionate Flamengo supporter.
The possibility of the striker getting his wish looks as if it could become a reality after his coach at CSKA, Leonid Slutsky, revealed he’s prepared to let him go.
”I’m ready to lose him. Vágner can leave CSKA,” Slutsky told Globoesporte.
”But we also work on the hypothesis of him staying and helping the team. We hope to conclude transfer negotiations soon.”
Flamengo are favourites to sign the 27-year old forward, but Porto Alegre side Grêmio are also interested suitors.
