Fluminense bolster their defensive options by adding Anderson to their ranks for the 2012 season. The twenty nine year old impressed the Tricolor during his loan spell at Atlético Goianiense throughout the 2011 Brasileirão.

The players agent, Márcio Melo, revealed that the Carioca giants have agreed to purchase 50% of the players economic rights with the other 50% belonging to Ceará.

”Everything has been agreed. Anderson is a Fluminense player,” Melo told Globoesporte.

”He has had his medical examination which was approved. The payment must be made to Ceará on Tuesday, so that he can sign a  two year contract which will be submitted between Wednesday and Thursday.”
