Barcelona cruised to a 4-0 victory against Qatari side, Al-Sadd, on Thursday, to make it to the Club World Cup final where they will face the South American champions, Santos.

The Catalan side are down as strong favourites to win Sunday’s final, but their number, Victor Valdés, expects a game full of goal scoring opportunities at both ends.

”It’s the final everybody expected,” he told Barcelona’s official website.

”The teams have very similar qualities and styles as well. They like to keep the ball and create chances. It will be a thirlling final, with lots of goal scoring chances for both teams.”

Valdés also had some kind words for Neymar, admitting the Brazilian international is one of the biggest dangers in the Santos team and that him and his team-mates will be keeping a close eye on the young forward on Sunday.

”He is an important player. He has so much talent, so it will be important to analyse him and be careful with their attacking moves.”
