After battling against relegation for the second year in a row, Alexandre Kalil has confirmed he hopes to bring in fresh faces for the 2012 season but admits the club will not do anything ‘crazy’ to bring in big named players.
Jorge Valdivia was one big name that was offered to Atlético-MG, but Kalil revealed the club won’t be able to afford his wages.
”Atlético Mineiro dont have the conditions to pay Valdivia’s wages.”
”Just a few clubs in Brazil have the money to afford his salary. We are not going to do anything crazy in order to sign players,”Kalil explained.
