A fee of €7 million has been agreed, with a Spanish entrepreneur providing €2million of the fee in exchange for 20% of the player’s econonmic rights.
But the dealing does not stop there. The €5 million that Grêmio themselves will pay consists of the Porto Alegre club relinquishing their 15% of the economic rights to former player Douglas Costa, valued at €3.5 million and an additional €1.5 million made from the impending sale of midfielder Adilson to fellow Ukranian side Dnipro.
The striker, born to a Brazilian father and a former representative of Brazil Under-20’s will earn approximately €125k a month in Porto Alegre and sign a five year deal, once medical exams are completed later this week.
