In an interview published on Russian site Sport.ru, Babaev acknowledged that the idea of the Russian club is to allow the twenty seven year old to get his move back to Brazil in the winter transfer window, but insisted they would only let their star striker leave if they are to receive a ‘decent offer.’
”Unfortunately the desire (to leave) is not identical to the (financial) possibilities from clubs who want to buy him. So far we have not received a proposal and he knows it,” Babaev explained.
”If we get a decent offer we will not stand in the way. Vagner has done a lot for the club. As they say, he did his job. So he can go, but he needs at least one club interested (in him).”
Flamengo have openly admitted that they would like to bring back Vagner Love to Rio de Janeiro, after the striker spent half the 2010 season on loan with the Carioca club.
