Now, according to RMC Sports in France, Ederson could be set for an early return to Brazilian football in a bid to get his career back on track and could link-up with Ronaldinho and Thiago Neves at Flamengo.
Ederson was injured within a couple of minutes of his Brazil debut in August 2010 and has been hampered by various ailments ever since.
With the Brazilian’s contract set to expire in the summer, it is likely the two clubs will try to come to some cut-price agreement in January, rather than make the player wait until July to make the move.
