With the fifth Brazilian league title in their hands, Corinthians are already beginning to plan for next season. The main topic being discussed amongst the Timao board is whether they can convince Tite to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the year.
In a brief interview with Lance! the Corinthians President, Andres Sanchez, confirmed that talks between the coach and members of board have already begun.
”Everyone knows that we want to renew Tite’ contract. Roberto (de Andrade, director of football) has been talking to him (Tite) about it. In the next few weeks the contract will be renewed. Tite should continue as the coach of Corinthians,” Sanchez said.
