Having recently commited his future to Santos, the Brazilian sensation spoke to FIFA.com about his admiration for the Catalonia club.

“Who doesn’t admire Barcelona?” the Santos number eleven said. ”They sowed the seeds a long time back and now they’re reaping the reward. They deserve all the praise they get for the joy they’ve given to the fans and to all the people who like to see good football, which includes me.”

Along Lionel Messi, Neymar has also been listed as one of the twenty three candidates that could win this year’s Ballon d’Or trophy, but told FIFA.com he feels he has a long way to go to get to the level the Argentine’s at.
