The 39-year-old forward is not getting much playing time at the Morumbi and still plans to extend his career into 2012, with Serie C newcomers Santa Cruz hoping to return their former player to the North-East.
Now Serie B Champions Portuguesa have also been talking of a move for the legendary attacking midfielder, with Rivaldo bringing as much to the club off the pitch as on it.
Rivaldo made 74 appearances for Brazil, scoring 34 goals.
