The Seleção striker was substituted off in last Saturdays win against Ceará after feeling some pain in his right calf. After missing two days of training, Fred participated in all of Fridays training session, but after complained of still feeling some pain in his right calf.
The striker was immediatly sent to a private clinic and underwent an MRI scan. The results revealed there was no injury and now coach Abel Braga has confirmed he’ll be travelling to Porto Alegre.
