Botafogo Director, André Silva, confirmed the Parisien interest in the player and also that the club are looking to renew the contract of manager Caio Junior for the 2012 campaign.
The timing of Cortês’ departure would be dependent on Botafogo’s Libertadores qualification. If succesful, the Rio side would like to retain the 24-year-old until the summer, when he could join the Qatari revolution for the start of the 2012/13 season.
