Flamengo have met their side of the contract, however it is instead sports management agency Traffic who have failed to meet their side of the bargain.
In the agreement signed in January this year, Ronaldinho receives about £400,000 a month. Traffic, are responsible for the paying of £270,000 of this amount.
Traffic insist the lack of payment is a bureaucratic problem and there are some details on the contract, which is unsigned to date, that they would like to change.
Ronaldinho’s brother and agent, Assis, refused to comment on the matter.
