Sambafoot has the 2014 World Cup in their sights

Specialists in Brazilian football on the internet since 2003, the Sambafoot company was created on September 2, 2011. The aim of the new structure is to become a key player in creating new content on Brazilian football and to offer services as part of the 2014 World Cup.

Rich and specialised content for FIFA partners and the media

The expertise of Sambafoot in Brazilian football has for many years been a trusted source for the internet community. These same groups of supporters will be sought after in the build up to the 2014 World Cup by companies looking to build their name by investing in football. The content produced by Sambafoot (information, articles, interviews, videos) is multilingual (currently English, Portuguese, French and Spanish), whilst Sambafoot collaborators such as Tim Vickery, Walquir Mota, Eric Frosio, Juni Calafate and former Brazilian international Juninho Paulista are renowned global references on the Brazilian game. The Sambafoot network is indeed one of the most qualified in the market, comprising players, clubs, agents and media figures.

The principal targets of Sambafoot are companies with an international dimension, such as the partners of the 2014 World Cup who wish to create their own community around the event, but also the international media requiring exclusive content from Brazil.

The strengths of the Sambafoot concept are based on the originality of the proposed content. For example, since 2008, Sambafoot has organised the award for the best Brazilian player playing in Europe, the Samba Gold Trophy, which has been received by Kaka, Luis Fabiano and Maicon in recent editions. The award provides a way for sponsors to start their own community on the internet through an original event.

Supporting European companies through development in Brazil

From November 2011, Sambafoot will be based in Brazil and will participate in the Rio de Janeiro ‘Soccerex’ to present its services. This local presence allows Sambafoot to assist in both the transition and development of European companies looking to enter the Brazilian market through sport.

“Today, many European companies are interested in participating in the 2014 World Cup and the explosion of the Brazilian market.

“The role of Sambafoot is to accompany them on-site as a trusted intermidiary,” says Frédéric Fausser, founder of Sambafoot.com.
