Futbol Mercado claims that last season’s Coppa Italia winners are the latest side to take interest in the 22-year-old goalscoring sensation.
Damiao has had a fine year with Internacional, currently standing as the top scorer in Brazil in all competitions in 2011, and was the subject of a failed bid from Tottenham Hotspur over the summer.
He recently scored his first goal for the Brazil national side, and a move to Europe could help him demonstrate his ability to become a first team regular for the Seleção.
However, any potential move to the San Siro could be hindered by Internacional’s insistence that Damiao’s release clause of €50 million must be met in order for him to leave the club.
