Menezes will first name a selection made up solely of domestic-based players, such as Neymar, Ronaldinho and Leandro Damiao, for the second leg of the Superclásico de las Américas, against Argentina in Belem on September 28. The tie is in the balance, with the first leg having finished 0-0.

The other squad will be for the friendlies against Costa Rica in San José (October 7) and Mexico in Torreón (October 11). This list will include Brazilian players based in Europe, such as Julio Cesar, Lucio and Lucas Leiva.

The announcement will be made at 15:00 UK time (11:00 local time) on Thursday at the Hotel Sheraton São Conrado in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
