The 19-year old, who is one of the hottest proporties in world football, has continually been linked to the La Liga giants.
Although he confirmed there was no agreement reached over a possible transfer, Neymar said they are both interested in his signature.
Neymar told AS after the game: “Real Madrid and Barcelona have come calling for me. Both clubs want me. I can confiirm that much, but I have not reached any agreement with any of them.
“The interest from Spain’s top two clubs makes my self-esteem go very high because I am being followed by two clubs like these.”
Neymar has been linked to a January move away from Santos but his father yesterday said that a summer deal was more likely for the Brazil international.
Chelsea had previously shown an interest in Neymar but it is now obvious he would prefer a move to La Liga.
