The visitors took the lead after ten minutes. Thiago Feltri was brought down on the edge of the box, and from the resulting free-kick, Bida fired Atletico into the lead.

Their second goal came from the penalty spot just after the hour. Thiaguinho was fouled by Fluminense’s Diogo, allowing Atletico goalkeeper Marcio to fire them into a 2-0 lead.

Things were looking bleak for the hosts, but they managed to pull a goal back with seven minutes remaining when Rafael Sobis curled in a stunning strike from 25 yards.

Sobis struck again four minutes later to level the scores, tapping in from close range after Marcio spilled a shot from Rafael Moura.

Fluminense completed an incredible turnaround in the final minute. Marquinho whipped in an in-swinging free-kick, and Moura was there to head in the winner from six yards.

The victory sees ‘Flu’ move up to seventh in the table, while Atletico are ninth.
