Botafogo 3 – 1 Atletico Mineiro
With a goal by Elkeson and two by Felipe Menezes Botafogo won their ninth game in the Brasileirao leaving Atletico MG in a difficult situation. Atletico hasn’t won in seven games. With this win Botafogo secured 31 points and consolidate their fifth place in the table just behind Sao Paulo and Vasco.
Cruzeiro 1 – 0 Ceara
Cruzeiro had a hard time against Ceara and won only by one goal scored by Montillo. “This win is important,” said Fabricio. “Lately we are playing well without winning. Today we played badly by we won sometimes it happens. We had difficulties against a difficult team and luckily we won.”
