Yesterday Ganso and Neymar proved their brilliance and complicity on the field leading Santos in their third victory of the club’s history in the Copa Libertadores, the first in 48 years. Arousing even more the European clubs interest in the pair.

Santos’ president had said that they would be no talks before the end of the Copa Libertadores.  Now that the Copa is over, england’s back pages are splattered with rumors and gossip about the two prodigy snubbing the Premier League and heading to Spain and Italy.

Talksport announced that Neymar and Real Madrid had found an agreement for six year and around £26million pound. As for Ganso who was announced both in Chelsea and Tottenham, it is said that he is learning Italian and will join his fellow countrymen Robinho, Pato and Thiago Silva at AC Milan.

If this was to be the case it would make Pele very happy. Brazil’s legend had advice Neymar not to go to England because of the Premier League being too rough. A few hours before yesterday’s final he said: “Neymar could play in Spain. It is the kind of football that is suited to his characteristics. Eight months ago he could have gone to England, but I told his father that this style is not for him.”

It is unknown yet what the talented young pair will decide for their future. But one thing is for sure: it is the start of something special.
