The 19-year-old was recently touted as a target for AC Milan, and now according to Goal.com Latin America Barca are also interested and will make a bid of €5 million.
It is thought that a whole host of clubs are monitoring the form of Casemiro, with Internazionale, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Villarreal among others considering making an offer.
Casemiro has scored two goals in the Brasileirão so far and has helped Sao Paulo to win their first four games. He has also been included in the Brazil squad for the upcoming Under-20 World Cup in Colombia.
