The striker will be brought on after half an hour and play until half-time, in order to say goodbye to the fans.

 

He told reporters: “I’m very, very nervous and still shocked. It would be a dream if I could score a goal.

 

“I’m very happy for closing this part of my life with the national team. I have nothing to prove.

 

“I only have to thank the Brazilian people for their unconditional support,” he concluded.

 

Ronaldo will win his 98th cap for the Seleção and will be hoping to add to his 62 goals.
