According to gulfnews.com, Braga, who recently won the UAE league title with Al Jazira Club, is unlikely to be at the Abu Dhabi club much longer. His contract expires at the end of this month, and sources close to him claim he is keen for a return to Brazil with Fluminense.

Braga has an impressive CV, having led Internacional to the Copa Libertadores and the Club World Cup in 2006, beating European Champions Barcelona 1-0 in the final. He won the Campeonato Carioca three times at Fluminense, twice as a player and once as a manager, and also won Taça Rio as boss in 2005.

Fluminense are the current Brasileirão champions, but have been without a manager since the beginning of April, when Muricy Ramalho left to take over at Santos. Since then, they have crashed out of the Copa Libertadores, losing 4-3 on aggregate against Club Libertad of Paraguay.

Due to the terms of his contract, Braga would be unable to take over until the second week of June, by which time four rounds of the league would have passed, but the Fluminense officials are prepared to wait to get their man.
