Diego Tardelli believes that Brazil are well on track to eradicate the bad memories from last year’s World Cup and secure some silverware.
Tardelli scored the second goal in Brazil’s 2-0 friendly victory against Mexico on Sunday and has vowed to keep on improving. The striker was warned by Dunga to make sure his level of play didn’t drop after his move to Shandong Luneng in China. The 30 year old believes that if anything he is improving.
“I continue to work to earn my place,” said Tardelii. “It feels good to have scored another goal. I still want to improve myself to stay in the team. I think I’m on the right path, I trust myself and I want to help the Seleção. We have a responsibility to erase the bad image that we carry from the World Cup in 2014. We have a great team and we can win titles. Since the return of Dunga, we do things well.”
