Overwhelmed by the speed of the European game, Beraldo made numerous placement and marking errors. He completely missed his match, notably leaving too much space behind him for Lewandowski, author of a double. His inexperience at this level was clearly detrimental to him.

For Daniel Riolo, RMC Sport consultant, Luis Enrique immediately undermined the young Brazilian’s chances of success: “Beraldo arrives calmly and already finds himself starting against Barça, it’s much too early!
