Brazil winger Douglas Costa has been passed fit for Brazil’s World Cup quarter-final clash with Belgium in Kazan on Friday.
Costa made a positive impact as a second half substitute against Costa Rica on match day 2, helping the Seleção to a 2-0 victory.
His performance led to speculation that he might have kept his place on the right wing ahead of current incumbent Willian.
However, the Juve man picked up a thigh injury in training, missing Brazil’s victories over Serbia and Mexico.
Costa has re-entered full training now and is in contention for Friday’s quarter-final with Belgium. He will challenge Willian for a starting spot.
