Gareca says Palmeiras asked for information about Jefferson Farfán
Peruvian national team coach Ricardo Gareca said he was consulted by representatives of Palmeiras for iformation about 32-year-old attacker Jefferson Farfán.
Palmeiras boss in 2014, and currently in charge of the Peruvian national side, Ricardo Gareca says he has been approached by his former club about information on Jefferson Farfán, who recently left Al Jazeera from the United Arab Emirates. Palmeiras already had a conversation with their former coach, but at another time of the season. According to Brazilian media, internally, some people even say that Gareca was responsible for talking about Farfán to Palmeiras. However, club does not confirm the versions. Current Brazilian champion Palmeiras has been targeted by players offered by agents. Ricardo Gareca led Palmeiras in 2014. In 13 games, there were four victories, a draw and eight defeats.
